StageNow Remove existing SSID and add new one + PASSLOCK

Hi

I have old files that have been created with StageNow.

However I changed computer and now i'm unable to re-open these files because StageNow was stored local.

I'm trying to figure out again which steps I need to use how to configure;

We will be changing SSID in our shops

- I want to add the SSID with passphrase

- I want to remove connection to my old SSID (forget the SSID)

-I want to add a PASS LOCK into the script

I've  tried to use StageNow on Xpertconfig (MX Version - 10.1)

Added a "Wifi" profile x3 to firstly remove all existing networks, add the new SSID & connect to the SSID.

It doesn't work right now, it wont even delete the existing network.

This is arguably more of a question for the Zebra forum than the SOTI forum but considering I'd probably be answering your question over there anyway I might as well answer here.

For this particular situation I would suggest using Xpert mode and then combining a Staging WiFi Wizard with the passcode lock CSP which I think is part of Device Admin CSP. The one Staging WiFi wizard will replace the 3x WiFi CSPs and will allow you to specify a new SSID and also choose whether you want prior networks deleted and for the device to attempt connection to the new network. You can pretty much ignore the fact that is calling it a "Staging WiFi" as it can be used for any purpose.

Hi Matt

Apologies for not posting in the correct Forum.

Anyhow, the solution you gave me worked! Thanks a lot.

The wizard is relative new I think then, I remember doing it via the Wifi CSPs back then.

Glad that helped! And it's definitely not new, I've been using it probably since the TC8000 ran Kit Kat.
