I'd like to ask for a MC upgrade (15.1.0 to 15.6.6) : I'm testing the new MC but, if there is something wrong after the upgrade that I didn't see before, is it possible to rollback to the old version without issues ?

If your MC server is a cloud instance, then you can definitely request Soti cloud support team to perform a fallback, hopefully within a short period of time (say a few days) after the upgrade. The longer the time period, the larger the amount of device/MDM-related data that can be lost after the fallback. Also, I would not recommend any MISSION-CRITICAL PRODUCTION device be newly enrolled onto the upgrade system for test in the initial period to reduce the risk of complex handling if a fallback is eventually needed. Instead, enroll CASUAL test devices held by IT/MDM administrators to perform critical tests on the devices in the initial period, and any problematic/out-of-control issues of such devices will have very little impact if the server has to fall back.

You could do an entire server backup first but this would definitely mean loosing all data afterwards.
If you are not sure about how such things work I recommend to involve someone (server provider; Soti) who does.

Thank you for your query. Before proceeding ahead with the upgrade, kindly take a server backup. In case any issues arise after the upgrade, you can rollback to the previous version. In case of cloud instance, you can request SOTI support team to perform the cloud upgrade.
