I'm sorry but I should have stated the version we are using:  SOTI MobiControl Version 11.0.3.15352

It does not have the Directory Service Connections in the Global Settings.  It does have LDAP Connections and when I click on the wrench it opens the LDAP Connections Manager.  This shows tabs with the connections.  This is where I tried to delete a connection but it says "The server could not complete your request. An internal error occurred."  I am logged in as an admin user.

Hi Fred,

Can you create a new LDAP Connection on the same LDAP Connections Manager before you delete the old configuration? Follow help guide for more instructions.

Let me know if you still get the internal error.

Yes, I already did that.  That is why I want to delete the old connections.  I am replacing them with the new one I created.

Earlier I was getting an error that the connections were being used by Console Security.  I went into the Security tab and selected the Console Security tab.  Then I selected the "Configure User Directory Binding" and removed the check marks from the old connections and put a check mark in front of the new connection.  Then I clicked on OK.  Now I don't get the error that ii is being used by Console Security any more.

Now, it doesn't say what is wrong. Does the server need rebooting for the changes in User Directory Binding?

Fred,

Did you use this LDAP connection on any of the 'Add device rules'? If so, please remove them accordingly. Also check the MobiControl database for any dependencies and update them.

There is no need for server rebooting to reflect these changes!

I don't know.  How do I check if my old LDAP connection is using an Add Device Rules?  How do I check the MobiControl database for dependencies?  I did go into the Security tab and then clicked on the Console Securtiy tab and then the Configure User Directory Binding.  This opened the LDAP Connection window and I unchecked the old connections and checked the new connection I created.  This did not help.  I still get an error.
