Hello,

Using file synch to upload the files (PHOENIX-M..zip and Common ES..zip) to the devices CK75 (via SOTI MobiControl) then excuting a script to upgrade the firmware.

The problem is that the apps from the Common ES package will not be installed totally means some apps installed some others not.

Do you have a solution for that?

Thank you

Amine

Hi Amine,

what i dont know if in Android Version 6.0 is there the Path Available ?

sdcard/honeywell/autoinstall

Place in Here the zip File reboot the device and see if it is installing the Applications.

An other Option is to Create an Package with the Enterprise Provisioner to install the APK Files.

There you can selct to Download the Files from an SFTP or other folder or only execute the Honeywell_CommonES_Android_ReleasePhoenix_4.02.00.4164.zip  what you have snyced to the Device locally.

Hi Markus,

I tried this also to install manually via this path but the device says that "No package to upgrade".

The issue is random and not in all scanners. And the apps which are installed or not are random also.

Hi Amine,

sounds that the Application was updated or not installed on the Device?

What i have seen at the Requirements is that when you try to use Honeywell_CommonES_Android_ReleasePhoenix_4.02.00.4164.zip must be installed with the actually OS update PHOENIX-M-82.01.16-(0139).zip or PHOENIX-M-81.01.16-(0139).zip (non GMS).

Sorry but i do not have this Device here to do some Testing :(.

Hello Marcus,

Correct this is an update and the firmware 81.01.16-(0139) was installed successfully. The only issue is on the upgrade of Common ES package as described before.

Hello Amine

Thanks for requesting an answer From Soti!!

Kindly let us know if this issue is resolved for the Common ES package. In case if this issue is still present then kindly let us know the following;

As you mentioned, this issue is not happening on all scanners so kindly verify and compare os version, model no, agent version and type of enrollment (android OEM or android enterprise), profile installed for the devices having issues with any other device without any issue and let us know if you find anything different.

Regards
