Raymond is right, nightly maintenance occurs at midnight local time of the management service.

Unfortunately at this time there is no way to adjust the MobiControl nightly maintenance time period and if this causes an overlap with your DB backup schedule you may need to adjust the time that the backup is being taken.  

I think the default nightly maintenance time is midnight local-time of the Management Server.

Is it possible to change the time zone of a cloud instance so the maintenance happens at midnight of customer's time zone?

This is causing issues due to the fact that many customers report unavailability of their cloud instances at work hours

What you said is quite abnormal.  Amazon AWS, on which Soti MobiControl cloud instances are hosted, has data centres covering different parts of the world so that the effect of time-zone difference can be minimized.  Where exactly is your customer and their cloud instance located?   

We are located in Colombia (GMT-5) and I see most instances are in Brazil (GMT-3), only 2 or 3 hours difference but curiously some customers experience availability issues of their instance from 4 pm-5pm and this in different instances.
