Hi all

I want to ask you if you know how I can remove the option to enable airplane mode from the popup menu by holding down the power button.
I have Zebra TC25 devices running Android 7.1 and 8.1, the version of the mobicontrol instance is 14.1.8.106.

I thank you for your help.

Have you tried the "Disable Airplane Mode" option in Feature-Control profile payload?

In general, total removing an option in the device GUI is not possible with MDM/EMM software, which often can freeze such option for some device brands with the right API in their firmware.

I don't have a Zebra TC25 on hand now, but I did extensive tests on some about6-9 months ago, and there was no way to solve your problem based on my tests done then. However,  you might check Zebra MX or any OEMconfig app from Zebra that can provide such configuration on selected Zebra device models.

Hello Leynar,

Thank you for your post, if your device enrolled as Android Enterprise then we have the feature available in the latest build of MobiControl (15.1 and above) but for devices running Android OS 9+.

For Zebra devices, you can create a profile in StageNow to disable Airplane Mode, please refer to the link below

https://www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/knowledge-articles/evm/Disable-Airplane-Mode-Access-on-Oreo-via-StageNow.html

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Besides the Feature Control option there is also an exposed configuration available in MX. With that said, the TC25 does have a purposefully limited number of MX configurations so it may not in fact support these options. I toggled the TC20/TC25 option on the TechDocs site and it does appear to be grayed out.
