Hello,

If we enroll the CK75 with the APK "IntermecMobiControlIntermec-15.2.0.1025.apk" after finiching we get an error "Unforunately mobicontrol has stopped".

Actually we are installing the agent version 14.5.5.1023 then making the upgrade of the agent to the version 15.2.0.1025 and it works fine (very rarely we get the error mentioned above)

do you have a solution to enroll the devices with the latest version without getting such issue

Thanks

Amine

How do you enroll your devices?
As you don't get latest agent, it's not Zero-Touch-Portal or DPC identifier (afw#mobicontrol) but do you use QR-code or something else?
And do you enroll using Android Enterpise Agent or Classic (which is then a device specific one (which looks like as the name file says))?

And just for my understanding: Isn't Intermec = Honeywell? There would be a 15.3.0 version available for Honeywell devices.

OS version: android 6

OEM version: 81.01.16-(0139)

Mobicontrol version (server ):

Faced this issue before and we limited the agent to the version 14.5.5.1023.

Enrollment done via barcode generated with EZConfig Editor

Device Model: Intermec

In the QR code you can define which agent to be downloaded:

"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_PACKAGE_DOWNLOAD_LOCATION":"https://downloads.soti.net/apk/v1520/Intermec/IntermecMobiControlIntermec-15.2.0.1025.apk"

As an example for the intermec one (and only one of the options which can/need to be defined in the QR code).

Don't have a problem on that, downloading and installing works properly (using our on-prem)

All provisionning tasks done without errors. When starting MobiControl Agent we get that issue.

You asked "do you have a solution to enroll the devices with the latest version" and i only provided the change you need to enroll directly to the latest agent without upgrade needed (you could also download it and use a local download path as currently for sure, just switching the filename then if it's stored at the same location).

But in general it makes sense to gather logs and open a case at Soti side, so they can investigate the issue better reviewing the logs hopefully somthing related is shown there.

Hi Anime,

I appreciate your contribution to the SOTI Pulse discussion and extend special thanks to Rafael for their insightful responses.

In reference to the issue you raised, it seems that device enrollment, downloading, and installation are functioning properly on your on-premises system. However, the challenge arises when the Mobicontrol Agent unexpectedly stops. The abrupt cessation of the agent could be attributed to various factors. As a troubleshooting step, you may consider re-enrolling your device using the same QR code to assess whether the issue persists.

If the problem persists, I recommend initiating a SOTI support ticket. This will enable us to conduct a more thorough investigation by capturing and reviewing the logs, ultimately identifying the root cause for the agent's abrupt cessation.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're dedicated to providing assistance and support.

Kind regards,
