MobiControl Agent Upgrade Honeywell CK75

Hello,

Trying to upgrade Mobicontrol agent for Honeywell CK75 to the latest version 14.4.5.1033 but not succeeded through the button Upgrade Agent

In the global settings I find that the 2 rows could not be selected as shown in the picture

MobiControl version: 14.4.8.1043

Hardawre in use : Honeywell CK75

Actual mobicontrol agent : 14.1.1.1003

I made a factory reset to the device and then make the provisioning with the version 14.4.5.1033. The app was installed but when it runs I get the error message "This device agent is incompatible with your device."

Hi Amine, 

Thanks for posting in the SOTI Central.

According to the screenshot attachment, It shows that Honeywell agent is already updated in the database because the local version and the latest version is 14.4.5.1033. "Manage Android Agents and Plugins dialog box" is used to download /update new Android Classic device agents and device plugins to the SOTI MobiControl database. Within this dialog, you can also update existing agents and plugins with newer versions. It does not updates the agents on the devices.

Please follow the steps below to download and install the latest SOTI MobiControl Andriod plus device agent on your devices:

  1. Specify which networks your devices can use to download the device agent.
    • If upgrading a single device, click on the device whose agent you want to upgrade to open its Device Information panel.
    • If upgrading multiple devices within a single device group, on the device group containing the devices whose agents you want to upgrade, click More > Group Information to open its Group Information panel.
  2. Switch to the Configurations tab and under Advanced Configurations section, click More > Edit beside the Agent Upgrade Settings entry. Agent Upgrade Settings are dictated by Device Family. Within groups you must perform this step separately for each device family whose agents you want to upgrade.

    On Android Plus devices, select Agent and Plugin Upgrade Settings.

  3. Select the devices whose agents you want to upgrade and click the Enable Agent Upgrade icon in the Device Actions menu bar. Click the More menu button to see the full device actions list.
  4. If applicable, click the warning message at the bottom of the dialog box to see why some of the selected devices will not allow agent upgrades.
  5. Click Enable Agent Upgrade.
  6. With the devices still selected, click the Upgrade Agent Now icon in the Device Actions menu bar. Click the More menu button to see the full device actions list.
  7. If applicable, click the warning message at the bottom of the dialog box to see why SOTI MobiControl cannot push the agent to some of the selected devices.
  8. Click Upgrade Agent Now.

Devices with out of date agents will download and install the latest available agent and if your devices are enrolled as AE please use application catalog rule to push new agents.

Note: SOTI strongly recommends test device agents on selected devices before completing a full rollout.

How are you managing the devices? If they are under Android Enterprise management then you actually want to upgrade the Android Enterprise agent since it is universal, and not OEM specific.
