Refer to the following discussion:

Not really the same but it is unbelievable that this kind of feature is not possible...
While bulk import of custom attributes and user-names have been removed on v14,x, bulk import of Phone-Call whitelists/blacklists and Application Run Control whitelists/blacklists are still available in the latest v14.1.x releases.
On second thought, I believe another possible way to perform bulk import of custom attributes on v14 is possibly to use REST api. This of course requires writing a custom program to read the required inputs from supported file format(s) of one's choice, and programmatically calling required REST api's repeatedly to complete the bulk import.
This is theoretically possible, though I haven't tried it out myself yet.
For me, we cannot create a user manually to assign a device. There is no API to do that.
And manually, assign a device is only for LDAP users...
Create groups and assign devices into them is possible but what a mess to do a so simple action!
I cannot understand why all this basics are missing...
If I sum up :
Seriously, guys, how is it possible to work in these conditions?
Hi Antoine,
Thank you for your inquiry into this, as this has been brought to our attention to be a highly sought after feature.
Due to changes made in V 14 it was necessary to make changes to how this feature worked in previous versions. As a result of customer feedback we have been working diligently to have this feature return in V14.
As of now I have received word that we are working towards having a bulk import for LDAP users and subsequently a bulk custom attribute feature available for our V 14.2 release.
We apologize for any inconvenience not having this feature may have caused but rest assure that your feature requests for it's urgent return have not fallen on deaf ears.
When available, I will update this thread with an ETA for that release.
Hope this helps
Just got word that the release of 14.2 is scheduled to coincide with our Yearly Conference SOTI Sync, in Sept 2018.
