Accessing Onedrive

Has anyone been able to access company resources VIA Microsoft 365 by authenticating with Company Portal or Microsoft Authenticator on a SOTI enrolled device?

We have android devices that need to be able to take pictures and upload to Onedrive.  My Azure and SOTI are synced and I followed all steps provided and it still doesnt work. I can not get a clear answer on if anybody has made Onedrive work on a device enrolled in SOTI, all I've heard is theory.

Hi Chauncey,

We use an Mobicontrol onprem server solution that works with a filesync rule running on the devices..

Devices upload their photo's using a file sync rule to an Onedrivefolder located on the Windows server.

That onedrive folder is then automatically synced to the Cloud (M365).

Works good, although depending on the amount of devices it can be a storage hog (20-30 GB easliy for 150 devices). So data management needs to be at top of mind here (or tinkering with configuration details)..

In any case usefull to give it a try.

If you are using a Soti Cloud solution then accessing Cloud storage (Onedrive, Dropbox eg) would be a way to go. Haven't tried that for ourselves yet though.

Hopelfully this gives a push in the good direction for you.

Thank you for the response. I see what you are doing in your environment. We are using the SOTI cloud solution. Supposedly setting up conditional access policies is the fix but login fails due to device not being compliant. I am able to get the device registered in Azure Ad and I even went as far as to set the policy to automatically make the device compliant if it registers in Ad.

At this point I just end up inh a sign in loop.

We cant be the only customer trying to access company resources VIA 365 using a 3rd party MDM.
