Hi Vijay,

You can find a list of all the port requirements here. For general device communication for Android and Windows Legacy devices, port 5494 and 5495 should be opened on the network these devices and MobiControl server are on.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks

What platform(s) of devices have your mentioned problems?  Do you EVER have any enrolled device (now or in the past) that works fine for both Wifi and cellcular on this server?  If so,  what brand(s)/model(s) are they?

And your MobiControl server version and build number?

Hi Vijay,

If the devices are connected to a wifi network which has no restrictions on the ports mentioned in my previous reply, the devices should not have any issue connecting back to MobiControl Server.

If there are no such restrictions on your Network, device ADB logs can assist us to understand why the devices are not connecting back and to investigate that I would recommend creating a case with our Technical Support Team here.

Please let me know if there are any questions.

Thanks

Have you EVER got any enrolled device (now or in the past) that works fine for both Wifi and cellular on this MobiControl server?   If so,  what brand(s)/model(s) are they?

Is your Wifi a personal Wifi using WEP/WPA ? or a Corporate Wifi using 802.1x EAP?    Have you checked the firewalls (either on your MobiControl server instance or outside) whether there are different exception rules for traffic coming from outside (for the cellular connection) and that coming from the Wifi Access Point?
