Activity Suppression Lockdown Issue

MIDWAY USA, INC.

Good Morning,

I have an application running on an Android Plus device (Zebra TC52) that requires the ActionNotificationPolicyAccessSettings permission in order to change music/alarm/ring volume. I'm running into an issue where my application is requesting these permissions, but then Mobi Control is hiding the device settings window so users can't toggle the required permissions on.

Is there a way to execute this intention and bypass the activity suppression?

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks for the info. We happen to be running Android 8.1, so not sure if this will work in our situation. Might just have to get by until we can upgrade.

The TC52 is eligible for the upgrade. In fact that TC52 has A10, A11, and now A13 available. Most of my end customer environments are running A11 and are now migrating to A13. A8 is considerably old for that device model.

Thanks, I read through your answer here which was helpful. Most of our devices are WT6000's so we haven't experimented much past what they can support. I'll see about getting this device updated though. Thanks again.
