Syntax and details for managed application in lockdown mode

Hi,

I have a lockdown profile for some tablets I am trying to deploy an app from the Google Play store to it. The app in question has been whitelisted to our company's managed applications group, so it should be available. I am using Mobicontrol.

Essentially I'm looking for the syntax for deploying the app to these lockdown tablets. I know, relatively straight-forward but I can't find the answer through a forum search with those keywords.

Hi Sam,

It likely depends on the details on your lockdown.

But generally, youll need to add a new home screen item to the lockdown (Profile->Lockdown).

This will likely be a Launch:// and the name of the package (com.my.package - You can get this from Device Information Applications tab)

Again, depending on your lockdown, you may also need to add this item into the lockdown template.

All the different types of lockdown menu items supported, including those for apps,  can be found in the online manual, e.g. at
