Hi Mark,

Please find the following information about the application removal requests in Windows Classic devices.

Upon receiving a application delete request in web console, the device agent calls on the uninstallation program specified in the registry keys “QuietUninstallString” or “UninstallString” (if the former does not exist). These keys can be found in the “Uninstall” section of the Windows Registry for the app that has been targeted for uninstallation. The issue lies in what type of program is used for uninstallation of the app; if the uninstall program has a user interface and requires user interaction to progress, then the device agent is unable to uninstall that program. Only programs which can provide a “quiet” uninstallation that does not depend on user interaction can be uninstalled through the MobiControl web console.
