Hello Jan

Greetings

Thanks for Your Post To Soti Central!!

Kindly check if your search certificate is not expired  (available in certificate section on MC admin  utility) and Also make sure search service is running in mcadmin utility and  search integrity is synced  close to 100 percent.

If search integrity is not syncing to 100 percent then follow below mentioned steps.

Could you please follow the below exact steps ? and share the results

  1. Stop Elastic Search Service, wait for 1 minute
  2. Stop MS Service, wait for 1 minute
  3. Stop DS Service, wait for 1 minute
  4. Go to C:\Program Files\SOTI\MobiControl\Search
  5. Change "data" folder to "data.old"
  6. Start Elastic Search Service, wait for 1 minute
  7. Start MS Service, wait for 1 minute
  8. Login to the Web Console and make sure Search Integrity goes to 100%
  9. Start DS Service now.

Regards

Hey Jan,

you can Try to first take a Backup (Snapshot) and install the Same Version Again.

I had this in an Earlier version and this Helps me to fix it, when the Porvided Way from Soti Support will not work.

Hello Jan

Greetings

Thanks for your Post To Soti Central!!

As per screenshot , it seems that your search service is not working after rebuilding indexes as per my above mentiond post and i can see , you also have an opened case also and meeting is going to be schedueled soon and  i will also check with agent after that meeting.

In the mean time  Can you confirm if you have verified from your Mobicontrol admin utility to see if the search certificate is not expired.

Kindly try to restart the search two three times and note down the time stamps and see any exception or error in logs section from C:\Program Files\SOTI\MobiControl\Search\logs (check the latest Mobi control search log file) and share that

Kindly restart search service and check  exception by putting mobi control search logs in verbose from MC admin utility section.

As there is a recent upgrade happend so might be a chance your MC_Java_Home path is not pointing to the actual java installation location so you can verify that by going into Control Panel\System and Security\System\ then click on advance system settings section and check environment variable there you see a similar section as mentioned below so verify the MC_Java_Home path as it should be pointed to the same location as where java is installed eg to C:/ProgramFiles\java\jre1.8.0_191

javahome.PNG

If path is not same , then you can try to either reinstall java version or change the path to actual one and try to restart the search service again . (Before doing any changes on system end , you should take snapshot of the server so that you can always points back if there is a need)

In case of any other question , Kindly let us know.
