Change screen resolution

Hello,

I use the following adb command to change the resolution of my ZEBRA ET51 tablets.
adb shell wm size 1280x800

My client's apk requires us to change the resolution of the tablet to not have tiny buttons.
It works very well.

My client wants to enroll all his ET51 tablets in his MOBICONTROL console.
How to apply this resolution change in MOBICONTROL?
Is it possible to run an adb command?
Is there a script that can change the resolution of Android hardware?

Thank you in advance for your help.

It is not possible to run any adb command.

For configuring settings such as screen resolution on Zebra devices, it may be possible with Zebra MX utility (possibly via MobiControl "mxconfig" script command), or Zebra's OEMConfig app from Google Play store.

Hi Jean,

maybe take a look into Zebra OEM Config app, there's a setting called "Set Display Size" in the "Display configuration" Section.

Not sure if this will do what you want because it does not allow to choose a resolution but something like "small", "large" etc.. Same for Font Size if needed.

Hello Raphael,

I have already tried with the MX of ZEBRA.

It is indeed possible to change the density of the tablet using the "Display Size" parameter of the Display Manager in Stagenow.
It works well, but we are very limited in terms of choice.
It is not possible to go beyond 480=LARGEST when I need to increase the density to 800 on my tablet.

Yeah, ok. Was just an idea.

And as far as i know, no other possibility.

Maybe ask Zebra if they can add such a feature to their oem config app.
