Issue Description
When attempting to enroll Android Enterprise device to SOTI MobiControl, the following error message is displayed:
"Enrollment failed. Please retry or contact your system administrator."

Cause
There are several reasons why users may be unable to enroll Android devices into SOTI MobiControl:
- Insufficient SOTI MobiControl licenses: All available licenses are used. The License Count must be higher than the number of enrolled devices.
- The customer may have recently updated their SOTI MobiControl web console to the latest version, but the enrollment profile was not updated accordingly.
- The devices may have been previously enrolled in SOTI MobiControl and later unenrolled by the user. However, due to certain issues during the unenrollment process, the device details may have remained in the
dbo.DevInfodatabase table.
Issue Resolution
- If the SOTI MobiControl licenses are running out, the customer can unenroll any devices that are no longer in use. Alternatively, they can contact their Account Manager to purchase additional licenses.
- If the customer has recently upgraded SOTI MobiControl, the issue may be due to the enrollment profile not being updated after the upgrade. To resolve this, open the enrollment profile and select the Update Profile button.
- If none of the previously mentioned causes apply, the devices may still be present in the backend database or could be facing other issues. Obtain the device serial number and contact the SOTI Technical Support team for further assistance.
