Issue Description
Users find that when creating an Analysis Profile in SOTI XSight, the expected SOTI MobiControl device groups fail to populate in the Assignment section’s dropdown menu.
Environment
This issue is not environment-specific and may arise in any SOTI XSight deployment, whether cloud-based or on-premises.
Symptoms
A clear indicator of this problem is the absence of device groups in the Group dropdown within the Assignment section, coupled with a No data found message, preventing the creation of an Analysis Profile.
Cause
The primary cause is typically a synchronization hiccup between SOTI XSight and SOTI MobiControl. Alternatively, it could stem from incorrect SOTI XSight service account credentials.
Issue Resolution
1. Select the SOTI XSight logo to access the main menu, then select Sync MobiControl Info.
2. Select Sync.
3. After a brief wait, return to the Operational Intelligence dashboard and select +(Add) to create a new Analysis Profile.
Note: SOTI MobiControl's device group hierarchy now appears in the Assignment section's group dropdown.
Tip: If the issue persists, verify the credentials of the SOTI XSight service user account by navigating to the MobiControl Integration tab in SOTI XSight's console settings.
