In the input field by default the Google on-screen keyboard always pops up as alpha numeric.
Is it possible to change the Default on-screen keyboard to Numeric keyboard only so that the users don't need to change it manually?
did you try to provide the gboard via app policy and configure it there (if possible)?
I haven't taken a look into that for gboard.
Or you could use a different keayboard or look into the OEM app from honeywell.

Is this "YOUR" application thats running in the background?
If so you can solve this in the application itself, because you can configure in what mode the keyboard is opened. Otherwise i dont think there is a mode to set the keyboard to numeric only (for Gboard).

Yes, it is the application provided 3rd part.
I will check if the application provider can modify the G-keyboard to Numeric
