I have windows 10 device which is enrolled in Windows classic and whenever i enable my Lockdown all my start up programs are not running , so I’m looking for a alternative ways to do this.
Hello all, we have mobicontrol on version 13.3.03454 we have some device zebra tc75 under android 6.0 with client mobicontrol on version 13.5.0 build 1677 We have a profile who has lock down with authentification. On the lock down -> html page, we have some title text and a image. when user click on the image we open an app. If we press the TITLE text on the lock down after perhpas one or two second we can see a little menu appears with some options as SHARE. If i click on share, a popup is show (application chooser) with these app : - android beam - bluethooth - email - gmail - .... How to avoid this problem ? thanks for all
Hello all, I have a table FZ B2 (android 6.0) with a lock down, all works fine but the security service has find a gap ... It's possible to change user, and of course, delete the lock down ...the lock down disapear when you change the user ... I've try to delete ALL USERS under settings ...but it's not possible ... On lock down, i have checked => disable status bar expansion / disable settings change / hide status bar How to reproduce this : tablet sleep, touch on ...touch several time the user (blue icon) and you obtain this screen. After click a other icon represent a user or + , and the lock down switch off ... How i can resolve this ? thanks
Is it possible to display in the lockdown the version of the APK deployed ( Launch://........ ) ?
We created a custom lockdown in Portrait mode. When we turn the screen in landscape, the lockdown screen doesn't fit very well. Is it possible to have something responsive ?
Hello all, perhaps you can help me, i have a tablet under android. On this tablet, we have a short cut with an url and a icon ... The problem is, the user sometimes navigues into the settings of the device :( and change for example the wifi connection or anything else.. I would like to add a lockDown, it's enough easy ...and work fine. My problem is, I would like to get the icon on this tablet (shortCut) but i can't find it ... Where chrome store the shortcut icon on an android system ? I've try to find with google but nothing find ... Thanks for your help
Hello all, I have a tablet Panasonic FZ B2 on android 6.0. Where i work we used soti mobicontrol server on version 13.3.3454 On the tablet , i have downloaded the apk => soti client on version 13.6.0 build 1257. The tablet is well enrolled into the server. I have created a profile with a lockDown -> simple html page by default I've add an icon, a name for this icon and the link as this : browser://... All work, i can add the lockdown on the tablet, unlock the lockdown and so on => perfect :) well, now the lock down is put on Landscape mode ...how i can change the orientation of the lock down ? Because, after install the lockdown is on landscape ...and i would like to change it to PORTRAIT ... thanks for all christophe
Hi, I'm trying to change the Logo of an app in the lockdown screen but it always stays as the default. I've tried changing the file to .jpg, .png, and .ico but none of them work. I've made sure that the file is under 1MB and it's only 40px x 40px. Anyone know why the logo wouldn't be changing? (Also, this isn't my application so I can't edit the programs files to change the default logo) Thank you Joe
Hi all, I can't seem to find any option within SOTI Surf 14.1.0 Build 66 to disable and lockdown this functionality, when users are navigating our webpage. Current use case is for a customer experience solution, so we would like to avoid customer zooming in completely on the page and leaving it in that state. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hello, We have Samsung devices with lockdown, with Disable Status Bar Expansion, so the user may not display QuickSettings. But, when the battery is below 10% there appears a low battery notification, and the user may display QuickSettings from it. Is there any way to disable such notifications or Quick Settings completly? Thank you for your comments

It's very difficult (sometimes impossible) to access to the Administator Lockdown password by remote control. Is there a command to send to the device to open the password field ?
I have been working with some older handhelds trying to get them into our production environment however I have run into a snag regarding the lockdown feature. The device is an Symbol/Motorola MC3190 Gun style device running CE OS 6, we currently run the same model in prod with OS 6.5 classic with the same lockdown screen, no issues whatsoever. The OS 6 device will install the lockdown but after the install the device is running extremely slow. If allowed to sit overnight the device crashes indicating it ran out of memory and asks to close applications. A cold reboot fixes the issue temporarily but will repeat the crash if allowed to stay on kiosk mode. We use the custom navigation bar options for our lockdown configuration. If I disable the custom lockdown config on the OS 6 devices it no longer crashes and performs very well even if left to sit for extended periods of time connected to the deployment server. I have validated this crash occurs on multiple devices running CE OS 6. I was hoping someone might be able to help provide insight into this issue. Thanks
The customer has a Huawei device that has Lockdown applied to it, and the Lockdown Template is customized. When they tap on the back button and recent activity button a couple of times, they get a Notification from Smart Recovery that says it needs to uninstall MobiControl.
