Hello All, I have a fleet of Zebra TC21s. They are using the lock down configuration. It doesn't happen with every handheld, but it's a pretty frequent problem. When I unlock the handheld and go into admin mode, within seconds the handheld will go back into lockdown mode. Having an issue where the Datalogic OEMConfig is not pushing out the changes to our fleet of Memor10 devices. The initial enrollment grabs all the settings and works fine. After the fact if I make and scanner symbology changes the settings never seem to get pushed out. Latest was a change to the Wedge settings and same thing, settings were never pushed out.
Hello, I am trying to come up with a way to delete our deployment Wireless network after the initial staging is complete. Is anyone aware of a legacy or javascript that can delete/forget all or certain wireless profiles that are saved to the device? I have search through the archives and online but can't seem to find a solution. Thanks
Hello, We have a problem related to some pre-scan-action which ends with an unwanted html page reload in Soti Surf browser but works (the action is not performed) in Google Chrome. We use some web application which is used for a pallete scanning purposes (like WMS). The app officially supports Chrome, Firfox, maybe others but Surf is not mentioned there. When a barcode is going to be scanned with device, just before the code is send to the html form a Page re/load action is performed so the code is filled to a wrong form fields then. We have checked the device settings for a prefixes, sufixes, data formating etc.. but the main catch (and reason why am I asking here) is it works in Chrome (which cannot be easily lockdowned as Surf). So the question of mine could be: Do you know if in Soti Surf / MC settings lockdown etc.. is somehow related to this behavior or so? Hi, We operate Zebra TC57 handhelds managed using Mobicontrol. The Zebra handhelds come with a default phone dialer app - org.codeaurora.dialer Our handhelds are really well locked down (using the various Mobicontrol and StageNow features) except when this dialer is invoked for incoming/outgoing phone calls. The app allows the user to get out to things like bluetooth share, mms messaging, file system, web browser, camera, video, slide show etc. While we could try and disable each of undesired functions the dialer gives access to (for example SOTI Surf is stopping the user's unauthorized browser access), it would be really good to instead provide a really basic phone dialer to make and receive calls. I haven't been able to find anything suitable. Has anyone has any success in loading an alternative basic phone/dialer?, or has any other ideas on locking these functions away from the user? Hello, Getting errors trying to import a CSV with our dozens of locations. The error simply says "Please provide custom data or IP range for (). Invalid Destination Path ()." I have a CSV with 3 columns, the paths of our OU's, the starting IP and the ending IP. Example: \\Company Name - Enterprise\Zebra TC-56 Active and Deployed\Location1 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.254 Is this correct? Do I need customdata columns, or headers? SOTI documentation is lacking with this. Thanks!
Hello everyone, I have a problem with our device, we tried to hard reset our device without unenrolling it first, after the device was successfully reset, I tried to Unenroll the device and delete it from the dashboard but the device can't be lost from the dashboard, should I delete it directly from the database? Hi, some of our Zebra TC26 mobile android devices are getting out of time sync. I created a MobiControl package that enables Network Time and sets military time to 24 hours. When the package installs, it works fine. But then at some time some of the devices have seemingly by themselves removed the "Use network time" again, and some of them are 6-8 hours out of time sync. I don't know how. It seems though, if I manually force the package to run again, they will get the "Use network time" once again, and imediatedly be in sync again. So what I did was, to go to my time sync profile and try to set it to run at a schedule two times a week. But as far as I can see in the logs on some of the devices, nothing happened this morning. It does not seem like the job was started. Devices are running android 10. Tried to insert som images here in .png or .jpg, but it fails to upload them. Regards Jarl
Hi All, I have v15.2.3.1033, working with TC21 (Android 10) (a couple of TC20 (Android 8.1.0) too). I have a custom script that requires ini : var ini = require('ini'); As per https://www.soti.net/mc/help/javascriptapi/en/tutorial-commonTextDataFormats.html#INI-Support My issue is that as stated in the above, the ini extension is built into the agent, but my script run fine on some devices, but others I get the subject error. Even devices from the same enrolment rule, some work, some say Module "ini" not found. Any ideas? Thanks, Gary
I looked up the ports here - https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v14.0/en/setup/installing/network_ports.html and was unable to determine what the outbound (from device to server) port is being used to communicate during enrollment.
i WOULD LIKE TO RESET MY SCANNER TO DEFAULT SETTINGS. WHEN I DO THIS MOBICONTROL REMAINS ON THE SCANNER. PLEASE PROVIDE THE STEPS TO REMOVE MOBICONTROL ANDROID ENTERPRISE. THANK YOU.
Hi, Appreciate if someone can help me on this where i receiving a duplicate device ID only in 2 devices When PS20 device is enrolled and in console. Tried to deploy samsung tablet automatically it will kick out the ps20 and enrolled this samsung tablet which shows the same device ID. Thanks

MobiControl Agent icon will not appear in system tray when on a corporate network; however, it I take the laptop off the corporate network or work remotely the agent icon will appear. How do I get it to always appear?
