Remove unused Android Agents and Plugins

Within Global Settings / Manage Android Agents and Plugins, we currently have just about every single Android Agent added to our instance (by a previous Administrator).

As part of a clean-up exercise, I was looking to reduce this list down to only the ones we require but there is no "Remove" button within these screens. Although having all the agents installed is not detrimental to our instance, its a constant annoyance receiving the Update notification, for agents we will never utilise.

Does anybody know of any method to remove/reduce this list?

Well there is a way.

Under the old Global Settings hold CTRL+SHIFT and do a left click on Site Name.

Select under File Type Android Device Agent.

Mark your unwanted agents and click on delete.

After that they won't appear under Android Agents and Plugins and you won't receive notifications about them.

I highly recommend to restart your SOTI services (DS, MS, MC Search) because the database will not register
the changes. Because of that you won't be able to add them again because they will be listed as "installed".

After restarting your services the status will change from installed to install. So you are able to reinstall the agents
in case you need them again.

Hi Zdenek,

Click the hamburger menu and navigate to "Servers". This should take you to the following URL

[https://customerUrl/MobiControl/WebConsole/home/global-settings(legacy:main/true)]

Following Ozan's instructions, hold CTRL + SHIFT and left click on Site Name (Highlighted) within the Global Settings area;

Are these deleted plugins and agents physically removed from the database, or just hidden, please?

Hi Zdenek,

When you remove the Android agent from the SITE name(shared file browser), It will delete the corresponding entry from database.
