I was reviewing the shared device functionality. While I can setup the shared device and it is able to validate the login though IDP I was seeing an issue where. The login Error: Failed to prepare device with your applications and policies. However I didn't see any information on further setup.

Real time location of the device We could create a data collection rule then retrieve data via the request : GET /devices/collectedData But we hope there is a more direct and less restrictive way to retrieve this information. 2. System date and time Also, is there a method to find out the time of the lastest device reboot ? Hi all, Here's my issue. I have an Asus P00A tablet that has a lockdown profile on it. The problem is, I am now having to work from home now. Normally, I have our company networks saved onto the tablets, so they connect automatically. Since I am home, I need to get to Admin mode in order to put in my wifi password. On the Samsung devices I have, I can just hold down the back button to get the Admin access to pop up to type in my password. That is not the case with the Asus. Also, with my Samsung tablets that I have in Kiosk mode, I can do the swipe from the left side of the screen thing, that also does not work with Asus. Does anyone know how I can get to Admin mode on this Asus without using a script (since it won't get to the tablet anyway) or without just clicking it through the Remote Control section, since I can't remote control it. Hi, does anyone know of a way to reset a default application on an Android Plus device via a script? We're using Android KitKat on TC55's. Some users have accidentally clicked the wrong app and selected 'Always'. As the wrong app is on the blacklist it fails to open. Rather than remote onto each device and clear the default in the settings, I wondered if I could clear and then set the correct app via a script? In the meantime, I'm going to have to remove the 'wrong' app from the blacklist. Thanks.
Hi, after setting up a dev server with the newest SOTI V15 I could successfully enroll TC77, but this older one TC75 (Zebra/Symbol) is showing the following error "Enrollment-failed". No Android Enterprise enrollment has been disabled. How can I fix this? Is there a way to "enable" it via Stagenow? I couldn't find any. Thanks for your ideas. Regards, Benny
Hi everyone, We recently deployed 30 Android devices. They have been enrolled while being on Android OS 9. Some end-users updated their devices and now Mobi app doesn't connect anymore to our DS. The reason is that our mobicontrol server have a self-sign certificate with SHA1 and Android 10 doesn't support it. We have an inventory of Windows Mobile CE 6.5 (which don't support TLS 1.2) and we don't wanna update this certificate yet because it would disconnect all those PC pockets. I've pushed a script to disable the system OS update but I believe this script only last 30 days on Android Enterprise devices. Is pushing the script again after 30 days will extend the policy ? Hello, I take back a SOTI (cloud, in 13.4) installation of 120 samsung Galaxy A6. They where enrolled with the same google account (a personal one). Of course now we have plenty on log off with this account. We have now an entreprise account, it's possible to switch to this Entreprise account without factory reset the devices ? Thanks for help.

Hi everyone! I've encountered with a quiet strange behavior of Samsung devices. When I'm trying to migrate my enrolled in SOTI 13 Samsung device(Xcover4s) using script with few Writeprivateprofstring commands, after enrolling in SOTI 15, it wipes completely to factory defaults. My steps were: - In SOTI 15 SHA-1 is enabled for enrollment rule. - MobiControl agent is up to date. - SOTI 13 device profile is clean and with any rules or restrictions. Same in SOTI 15 - With Writeprivateprofstring I'm adding a certificate key, new deployment server, and device rule tag. - Restart agent and forcing to connect with Connect -f. How can I evade or disable wiping my device after enrolling? Thanks for your help

Hello, Is there a script to remove the lockscreen on an Android Enterprise / Fully Manged device? Tab A, Android 7.1.1. It appears this script is not supported in AE. I am primarily trying to remove user access to Chrome. writesecureprofstring DeviceFeature DisableLockScreenShortcuts 1 apply featurecontrol Have also tried blacklisting Chrome in application run control to no avail. I was trying to avoid manually disabling the lock screen if possible. Thanks, Shawn
