Hi, I need to set up an UNITECH EA600 device with SOTI MobiControl. So I've try to install the following agent that I have download from soti.oem but no one works. UNITECH EA600 agent v13.3.2 UNITECH v13.0.0 UNITECH v13.3.0 UNITECH v13.3.1 UNITECH v13.3.2 UNITECH v13.3.3 UNITECH v12.4.0 Is there a functional agent that works with Unitech EA600 ? Thanks Regards
We will be using the Galaxy S8 with OS v8 (Oreo). We are running SOTI Server v13.4 and Android plus Agent 13.5. After I download the agent and install it, it crashes. Will a new Agent fix this, if so when will it come out?
Hi! I wonder if it’s possible to edit/change the login page of MobiControl 14.1.2? What I want is to remove/edit the SOTI links in the bottom of the page, I don’t want my customers to contact SOTI for support or reporting issues, I want them to contact our support so that we can log it and then contact SOTI if/when needed. Hi, Our exchange active sync hits our netscaler which requires a client certificate generated by our internal CA. I have tried to add the CA server within the mobicontrol console but I cannot find any good documentation to assist in setting this up. Can any one help?
Good Morning everyone. MobiControl I am using MobiControl v13.4. The used devices are Huawei Mate 9 Lite. Situation We have 2 Wifi Network in the company: WiFi Int: It has internet connection. WiFi Corp: It is a internal network. We enroll devices using the .apk and .ini while connected Wifi Int, but after the enrollment whe want the device to forget Wifi Int and automatically connect to WiFi Corp. We configured a profile that includes WiFi Corp, but it keeps connected to WiFi Int if we dont disconnect it manually. Thanks in advance, Maximiliano.
Hi all, I wonder if anybody can help me. I have recently installed SOTI MobiControl on a Windows Server 2012 R2. Everything goes well until the point that I have to provison a device. I have used two methods: self-extracting executable and device agent URL address. On the first case, the executable installs properly on the Honeywell 70E (Windows 6.5), however it never gets to connect to the server (on the SOTi client says Connecting to .... and never gets to it). Using the URL address, I get an error page saying that page doesn't exist on the actual server and it never brings up the page asking for permission to allow the certificate. Both devices (Honeywell and server) ping each other, so there should be no reason why the devices cannot enrol on the server. So, I installed SOTI MobiControl on a Win10 laptop. Doing this same testing between the Honeywell and the Win10, the device connects right away (using the URL, I get the typical pop-up asking for the certificate). Both servers (win10 and win2012) have exactly the same config and the 2012 doesn't have the firewall enabled. Do you know if there is any SSL setting on the server that I should activate? Or any other idea why the server doesn't work and the Win10 does? Many thanks
We are having an issue where many of our Panasonic FZ-A2 Android devices keep disconnecting every few minutes, then reconnecting a few minutes later. The devices are connecting to the network via 4G LTE connections, not via WiFi. Accordingly, in the device log they are showing "Device disconnected", and then a few minutes later showing "Device connected". I am suspecting this is an issue with the 4G connection, and possibly even the SIM card. However, the amount of devices having this error leads me to question if something else is going on. The disconnecting of the devices is causing some issues with some of the real-time apps running on them. If anyone has any suggestions on where to look next or preferably a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have created enrollmentt rule and app catalogue . I distrubute my apps via vpp licence. Soti installs the app as soon as enrolment finishes on My Iphone 5s but some phone like 7s or plus never installs the app. it says that install pending and stay just like that. Hi, I have an Android tablet that is in a continuous reboot cycle. Every time I power on the tablet, it will boot up normally until it starts to launch MobiControl, at which point the tablet restarts and then gets stuck in that cycle. I think this tablet was connected to a dev Mobi instance that is no longer online when I was testing an upgrade process. How can I interrupt this process as we have a tablet that is rendered useless at this point. Thanks
Hi everybody. On one of our MobiControl environments we experience the problem that HTML5-RemoteControl is not working while the RC-FullClient does. I know that the way of communication between these two possibilities is slightly different. Can anybody explain how communication works with HTML5-RC between Management-Server, Deployment-Server, workstation and mobile device? Thank you very much!
I came across a previous conversation regarding the 'watchsettings on' script within MobiControl, however I have a question on how to send a script to an Android 6.0.1 device where the setting is defined as 'global'. Does anyone know the correct format for changing values within the //settings/global range, for example Bluetooth or WIFI? HI, Has anyone had any issues using the SOTI Stage Programmer App with Samsung Devices. I've installed this app from the Play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.soti.mobicontrol.programmer&hl=en_GB Its seems to work great and, installs great with devices straight out of the box, installs the mobi agent and enrols the device. I can view the device in SOTI, remote, wipe etc...however when I apply a profile simply nothing happens. I previously thought it may be that it installs the latest version and our console was on an earlier version, however after a recent upgrade to V 14.0 of our console it made no difference. The only difference seems to be that when we manually install we use the Samsung ELM version. Any thoughts or experience with this app?
We have an connection issue for the MobiControl agent on our CN51 devices. When the agent starts it just says "Connecting to xxx" and nothing happens, if you manually click connect it connects directly to the server. We suspect that the SIM cards data Connection is not yet ready when the agent is starting and tries to connect. Is it possible to configure re-connect after a few seconds on the agent, or can you delay the startup? Thanks / Henric
Hi All Android devices have hostnames like android-552ce9e60fd098c7. I can confirm this with adb shell: netprop net.hostname I used the api query GET /devices/{deviceId}. But the attribute "HostName" is the ip address instead of the hostname. Is there a way to read the correct hostname through the api? Thank you and best regards Markus
