Problems enrollment the device with an Apple Business Manager account

Hello, I'm having trouble trying to enroll the device with an iPad that's signed in to an Apple Business Manager account. No problem until the Ipad is trying to install SOTI MobiControl but fails, showing the error message. The error message is as follows: "This Apple ID cannot be used to make purchases."I think maybe there was a mistake in creating the MDM server, but don't know why.We hope to receive an answer from you. Many thanks. https://ibb.co/68RcDjN

Setting up Server preference in Apple Configurator Solved Locked

I'm running into some troubles when attempting to add a device to Device Enrollment Program using Apple Configurator. For my Server preference, I have used an Enrollment URL that matches the Enrollment URL from an iOS Add Devices rule in our MobiControl instance.  Note that this URL is for one of our deployment servers, which faces the public internet.  This url looks like https://public-host-name/Enroll/241.  Note that our management server is not publicly accessible. When I prepare the device using Apple Configurator, I select the "Add to Device Enrollment Program" and "Allow devices to pair with other computers" options.  I then choose this Server, choose a previously set up Organization, use the default options for iOS Setup Assistant, and select a verified WiFi configuration. The preparation step is failing with the following error: Provisional Enrollment failed.  The cloud configuration server could not be verified. [MCCloudConfigErrorDomain - 0x80EF (33007)] I haven't been about the discover a solution from others who have experienced this error message.  These are new iOS devices so they are not members of another DEP account. Any ideas?  Is the URL for the Server configured correctly? Thanks in advance... Steve...

Trust profile installed on DEP devices

We have a very strange issue happening with one of the enterprise apps we use. Whenever the trust profile is installed, this particular app gets an invalid certificate error. With the trust profile removed, it works fine. We unchecked the option to require the trust profile on the server and the devices that we enroll through the web browser work perfect...our iOS profile is signed by a third-party. However, most of our devices are enrolled through DEP and the trust profile is still installed on those devices. Is there not a way to prevent the trust profile from being installed on those devices as well?

IOS DEP Problem - Connected to multiple virtual MDM servers Solved

Hi, This is current situation: - 1 Deployment Server in SOTI - 1 Apple DEP Account - 3 MDM servers in the Apple DEP Account - 1400 Devices (from multiple customers) in the 1 (and only) Deployment server. - The Deployment server is connected to 1st made MDM server in the DEP Account What I want to accomplish, I don't want to open more than 1 Deployment Server, but I do want to connect multiple MDM virtual to that Deployment server and manage all my customer's devices. Is this possible? If not, when will it be made possible, since Airwatch is offering this already?

Apple DEP device enrolment/ Remote Management

Hi all We have a selection of iPad Pro's at the moment, that have been added to our DEP server and synchronized across as required... Our rule has been applied and all looks ok in terms of the configuration. However when they connect to WIFI, and then proceed to the remote management screen - it shows that our company will configure the device, takes a minute connecting and eventually just times out. It cannot download the configuration and hence goes no further. These are WIFI only so I cannot rule out other connections - but I have tried our own WIFI network, external networks and hotspots using 4G sim cards... and we either get just 'cancelled' or 'timed out' Can anyone confirm a few things for me please? Do the iPads have to be on our own network in order to remotely configure when first loading up the devices? These are brand new out of the box. Where could I check to see if they are hitting the server at all, what logs are best to check? Any help appreciated - we are quite new to the apple devices in Soti. Many thanks Leigh
