Hello dear Soti users, For our Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 devices, our IT is currently using Microsoft Intune.Unfortunately, we are not satisfied with the setup and would like to do a test in Soti with the devices.Specifically, switching users is a problem with intune (at least for us apparently) because you stay logged into apps like Onedrive and Sharepoint in the background. That means the user can see the data from the previous user. We have an on-prem installation of Soti which is only accessible via LAN via proxy. Unfortunately there is no staging wifi.At the end the devices will be used in Wifi, but for this first certificates are needed which are only obtained after the Mobicontrol setup. I have connected the device with a USB docking station to our LAN. However, the settings for the proxy are not saved in the LAN settings, so I end up not reaching the Mobicontrol server. They will not even save right after the first startup after a factory reset. Have you had a similar problem and been able to solve it?Or do you think Soti should always be used with a staging wifi? With our other Zebra/Honeywell devices, it doesn't make the installation as automated as it could be, but at least you get the devices running because there the proxy will be saved. What is your experience with the Samsung Galaxy Tab?
Hi there, I`m facing a issue regarding Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5. I`ve installed an application that monitor the fleet but the users find a way to exit from it and now they have access to google search bar(marked withe the red line) and some apps like google play, google, setting and it`s not ok. I didn`t find a way to block this security breach. As you may find in the picture below, the term "Cautare" means "Google search bar" and "Inchidere totala" means "Close All". The user should`nt have the possibility to leave the app and see these options(search bar and apps). Agent version: 14.5.5, but I`ve tried even with older agent versions but I`m facing the same issue. OS version it`s Android 11, One UI 3.1. Please let me know what to do in order to block the user to leave the main application. Thank you very much for your support.
Hi everyone,we work with MobiControl and Samsung devices, in Android Enterprise mode - full device magnament, with corporate catalogs in PlayStore. We have GalaxyApps app disabled so that no user can download inappropriate content such as games, unnecessary themes, etc. However, we need GalaxyApps for updating some Samsung system applications (which are not in the PlayStore), such as Samsung Calendar, Video library, maintenance app ... Hello, Recently we've been seeing S10e devices enrolled in MobiControl are rebooting into recovery and not allowing the phone to boot without doing a factory reset. Are there any known issues with the S10e and MobiControl? Or any solutions to this problem?
