GalaxyApps Management

DH

Hi everyone,
we work with MobiControl and Samsung devices, in Android Enterprise mode - full device magnament, with corporate catalogs in PlayStore.

We have GalaxyApps app disabled so that no user can download inappropriate content such as games, unnecessary themes, etc.

However, we need GalaxyApps for updating some Samsung system applications (which are not in the PlayStore), such as Samsung Calendar, Video library, maintenance app ...

How can we do it?

Thanks. Greetings

I am not 100% sure the GalaxyApps you mentioned actually refers to the Galaxy App-Store app bundled in all Samsung devices.

If so, and if you have an application-run-control whitelist of the FULL list of apps that are either mandatory (i.e. silently pushed) or suggested (i.e. on-damand by device end-user) for a device,  you can leave GalaxyApps enabled.  Any apps outside the whitelist may still be downloadablle viv GalaxyApps, but cannot be installed due to the ARC whitelist.
