Is there any way to use a naming macro to automatically name Linux devices according to their hostnames? I have tried the "hostname", "TXT", and "INI" macros without success.
We tried to apply one to Debian based device and it failed. The document for v15.0 says it requires Ubuntu only, is that still true in this version?
Hello Community! I have Soti MobiControl, version 15.4.2.1020 in use. I have a requirement to manage and lockdown Raspberry PIs and Ubuntu servers via Soti.According to the documentation only Ubuntu 16.04 as well as Ubuntu 18.04 are supported. I have set up 2 VMs with 16.04 & 18.04 and cannot confirm that the lockdown works for Linux. According to logs the npm packages are missing as well as electron, but they are not installed by themselves. On newer Ubuntu servers and on Raspbian 10/11 I have no chance to get the lockdown working. Has anyone done this before or is there a trick to use the build-in Lockdown from Soti? I don't want to program my own kiosk browser, because it has to work dynamically for 30 works. Thanks for your help, kind regardsMartin
We are running into a problem with linux devices running RedHat where remote controlled sessions just display a black screen. I have seem and resolved this before on Android but this is the first I have seen this on Linux. I ensured that "Screen Sharing" is enabled but other than that I am at a loss of what to check. Any advise is greatly appreciated! Thank you
i cant install on raspbian SO , I change permission with chmod a+x and chmod +x over install.sh but i cant resolve the issue.
We have a bunch Raspberry Pi 4's running Raspbian v10. When they were first enrolled into Soti, they showed up online, but now they are all showing all offline. I can ping and SSH and VNC into these devices, so I know they are online. It's just not showing active on Soti's side. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas as to why they disconnect? Soti Version - 14.4.7.1053
