Dear community, I have recently installed a fresh instance of Mobicontrol (ver. 15.6.0), but due to installer issues with catastrophic failures, I was forced to use local SQL Express instance. I have successfully moved the MobicontrolDB and Archive databases to main SQL server as there is an option to change these in admin console. However I am struggling with the Signal DB, there is no tool to reconfigure and the only settings related to SQL I was able to find were in registry (just the SQL server FQDN and user info) and json config located here: c:\Program Files\SOTI\Signal\appsettings.json But this config has the connection string encrypted (I suppose it's some of the dotnet config encryption tools). What are the options to change the DB location? I really don't want to run and patch another SQL instance. Will do the magic manual move of the SignalDB to production SQL server and then run installer again as "upgrade" and choose the production SQL server as destination? Thank you.

Hello dear Soti Team,We are currently experiencing some problems with some Android 9 (Android Plus) Honeywell CT60s. We noticed that many devices are displayed as offline in the web view. We then noticed that the Mobicontrol Agent can no longer be opened on the devices and that the agent takes up the entire memory space of the device (15GB). The device can therefore no longer be administered.I read in the forum that this could be a bug in the SQL database on the device:https://discussions.soti.net/kb/android-enterprise-and-oem-specific-agents-are-crashing-after-agent-upgrade/Agent 14.3.4.1006 is currently installed on all affected devices.It is possible to copy a new agent via USB and install it over the device. I was able to install the following version: HoneywellMobiControl1442NewGen_1039.However, the problem persists, presumably because the defective and cluttered SQL database is still present in the background.Unfortunately, we have the feature control with "Disable removal of Mobicontrol Agent" active, which is why we are unable to completely remove the agent beforehand.Is there any way we can remove the complete Mobicontrol Agent installation in order to start a fresh installation of the agent? Unfortunately, Mobicontrol is still functional enough to prevent us from uninstalling it.It would be very bad for us if we now have to reinstall devices worldwide. Cheers Maik
Hello, I've got an Erro while Enrolling Android Enterprise Devices. "SSL Handshake Failed". I tested devices of differnt manufacturers. For me it looks like there's a problem with the database? It's on an seperate SQL Server. Anybody knows this problem? Thanks for your help! Hi everyone, Last week, one of our customers logged into our SOTI environment and put in a couple of scheduled changes. As we noticed, the scheduled changes came up in the Mobicontrol webconsole as being done by "System" and not by the actual user. Since the SQL database saves the login it wasn't a problem to find out who logged in that morning and we quickly find out who it was by doing the right query in our SQL database. But one thing we notice. The login in our SQL database is only saved for 24 hours before it's being delete! Does anyone know a solution to extend the time to save the login data? Note, the query we set up was made to find the "Username" who logged in, not the IP address (since we have multiple customers who are able to login, we don't want to track IP's)Anyone any idea??
Hello all, we work with mobicontrol on version v13.3.0.3454 We have a zebra TC 75 with mobicontrol agent on version : 13.5.0 build 1677 (android 6.0) on this device, we have one app who create a database sql lite. I'd like to encrypt file. On profile, i've found an option : file encryption I would like to know how it's works ? Because, sorry perhpas my understand is bad but as i can understand with this option (file encryption) mobiControl make the Job ? Encrypt data for us. But when i try my data is always readable ... For to do that, i create a profile add authentification with password, add file encryption -> install this profile. Run my app -> starts app -> create db sql lite i export my database sql lite with usb cable but my datas is always on clear .. Something is wrong .. thanks for all
I'm very new to SOTI, and I'm looking to produce some custom reports. I downloaded the i-net Clear Reports Designer that was linked to in SOTI's Reports tab, but I wasn't sure how to set SOTI as the data source within the Reports Designer. Which driver should I use, and how do I find the User, Password, Host, and Database? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
