MobiControl and azure SQL

Hi,

Is it possible to use Azure SQL service (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/sql-database/) as database for MobiControl?

If it works, will it also be supported by Soti Support?

Hi Leroy, 

With regards to Azure we can confirm that using Azure AD is supported but we do not have many clients who are trying configure Azure SQL and subsequently we do not have any documentation regarding this.  I have reached out to our Product Managers for more information on this type of configuration for you.

Hi Leroy, 

We have received a response from the Product Manager.   As of now, we only officially support MSSQL; you may be able to get Azure SQL working with MobiControl, however you may come across issues in the future.   

                                                                                                                                                  

Since Azure SQL is not an officially supported platform, the support staff may not be able to provide you assistance if an issue does arise.
