Hello, I have several Zebra devices (TC20, TC25, TC26 ...), for which I have created different profiles (Android Enterprise) in Kiosk mode (Lockdown). In all of them, I install Datawedge and the configuration profile, using a package The thing is, I can't get the profile to copy correctly to the location I want, so that it self-applies. Routes: (Image1) Source: D:\_SOTI_\DEVICES\PDAS\TC25\Configs\Datawedge\dwprofile_TC25.dbTarget: /enterprise/device/settings/datawedge/autoimport/datawedge.db or Target: %sdcard%/Android/data/com.symbol.datawedge/files I can't get this file to be copied to the specified destination! I also tried to perform a rule and it does not transfer to the desired location either. We are staging Zebra handhelds, model TC56 and TC25. With Android version 7.1.2. And for some strange reason, roughly about 5% of the handhelds loses the functionality of the home button on the display. (circle icon in the bottom of the handheld). "Back" button works though. We are not using kiosk mode/lockdown or any kind of software that limits the handheld. Has someone got any clues to what can cause this issue? edit 1: tried to send a stagenow config, that would enable the home button. <wap-provisioningdoc> <characteristic version="7.1" type="UiMgr"> <parm name="HomeKeyUsage" value="1" /> </characteristic></wap-provisioningdoc> Didn't work. /Martin Ekman
How to enable developer mode on AE managed devices? Our devices is Zebra TC25. I found here in forum, that it is possible via integration of SOTI to MX layer. But appreciate if someone can share step by step on how to do it. Thanks
1. ZebraStageNowRequirements: Host - Laptop Software - Free 2. Mobicontrol StageProgrammer Requirements: Host - Android Phone *Device should be NFC Capable or else you cant install the app Software - Free Review: On Zebra StageNow they do have feature on bypassing GMS Setup Wizard, however I'm not sure what are the consequences of doing such thing. Does it have any impact in the future?
By default, lockscreen is enabled on TC25 devices. We dont want to manually disable it one by one. Is there a way from SOTI Mobicontrol to disable lockscreen remotely?
With Zebra TC25 enrolled in Soti MC with Android Enterprise Agent (GoogleMobiControl1350_1110.apk) I can use Rules but not Profiles - they simple do not apply onto Zebra TC25. Is it a way how to install Profiles (incl. Packages) on the TC25?
I'd like to enroll my TC25 (BSP 03-11-03-0-NG-00-M1, Patch v3) to Soti MC 13.4 or 14.1. After an enterprise reset I use a StageNow profile to connect to the Wi-Fi, download mcsetup.ini and the Soti agent (ZebraMobiControl1350_1088.apk), install Soti agent and set it as DO. Once agent is started I see the message "This device agent is incompatible with your device. Please contact your administrator". Well, am I doing something wrong? How to enroll TC25?
