Hello, we have a mobicontrol on version v 13.3.34 54 and of course we migrate (device are zebra TC75X android 7.1 Enroll type android +) We have made a backup of the database of mobicontrol install it on a new server. Actually, we made the upgrade on a test server with the version of mobicontrol 14.4.49 all port are open of course and 80% of my test are Ok. This is the good new :). But I don't know why but for some device ALWATS Zebra TC75X android 7.1 when i try to enroll it , i have an error message I type the URL or enrollmentId in the client of mobicontrol (zebra TC75X) and I have an standard error -> contact your admin system .. mobicontrol Client on device are on version 13 6 1476 In the log file of DSE I have this : [2020-09-10 11:00:06.311] ERROR [General] (20): Unable to locate device with id '100002119'. Hello all, I work with mobicontrol on version v13.3.3454 and i have just one device Zebra TC75X under android -> 7. Enrolled by android+ On this device when I install a app, the app ask me the to accept permission. For to avoid this, with zebra StageNow, i have made a xml file for to install this app in mode silent -> permission are not demand to the user. That's work fine. But my problem is, I have create a package studio, right click add a file (appName.apk) and for the destination file /sdcard/AppToInstall the folder AppToInstall is create by a pre install script -> work every time My problem is, the profile is always well installed but the apk it's never INSIDE in the folder AppToInstall !!! I've try to change the destination path with add / or delete / before sdcard ...but nothing work.. Also, I have open again the package studio an replace the apk file by a file txt file, replace the package inside the profile -> assign profile -> result the file is well inside the folder AppToInstall :) Someone can tell me, how i can copy an apk to a folder inside the folder structure ? We are running into issues with chrome webview stable on our Zebra TC75X Android 7.1.2 devices.After identifying some bugs with "chrome webview stable" that is constantly crashing our applications, we're trying to find a way to disable chrome so that the standalone android system webview can toggle over after being installed from another apk (webview settings are found in developer mode) We've blacklisted chrome but it is still enabled and not letting the android system webview take over. I can't find any scripts that will disable chrome either. This is affecting a large amount of devices and would like to make these adjustments with as little "remoting" in and configuration as possible.Anybody have any ideas?
Hey folks, looking for insights on deploying large OS update files (+1GB) for Zebra (7.x to 8.x) to locations with low bandwidth (DSL/T1) connections. We have a fleet of TC75x devices that are presently running Nougat and we need to update to Oreo soon. No local machine resources for Stage Now. We've considered SD, USB on site, but would prefer not to go this route. Looking for a low/zero touch solution. We're working with Zebra to engineer an alternate solution, but thought I'd check to see if anyone has already dealt with this scenario. @Matt Dermody - thoughts?
Hi, I have a number of TC75 and want to know if SOTI can get the "Battery Usage Number" from the Battery Manager app. Be handy info to see at a glance in the mobicontrol portal. for instance, a device that has been sent to me, has a battery usage number of 170, and a threshold of 400, which shows a battery wear level of nearly 50%. If I could see that X amount of devices battery is close to the wear threshold, I can pre-empt this and get some replacements in stock. Also, get ready for users saying battery life etc. is poor. Hello all, we work with zebra tc75x under android 6 and 7 the server is on version : 13.3.3454 the client is on version 13.3.2.1014 i have a profile who black list some application (google store, email, music, calendar, google news, …) but sometimes and not everytime users receive an alert message with this : google keyboard has stopped the problem is not this message the problem is when user try to enter some letter in a edit text nothing is type. user need to close app and re start .. I've look inside the profile but nothing is block about the google keyboard .. i've try to reproduce this problem ..apply all profile but actually i can't Someone can tell me, if he knows this issue or if he have some idea about how to resolve it .. thanks
Hello all we work with mobicontrol on version -> 13.3.3454 On device zebra tc75x under android 6 we have the client on version -> 13.3.2.1014 After an audit about security, we need to make some operation on ALL devices. For example, I need to suppress the lock screen to NONE. Actually all device has the lock screen to SWIPE. For to do that, I have create a rule. This rule create a folder and download a xml file from the server to the device and after execute an stage now script as this: mxconfig /sdcard/DisableLockScreen/DisableLockScreen.xml in the xml file I have this well, yesturday i have schedule this rule for execute after 10 PM into 115 devices. but, on 25 devices it's not ok the screen lock hasn't change... On mobicontrol log i have just error log: custom log (mxonfig - XML parsing failed (sdcard/disableLockScreen/DisableLockScreen.xml).) I've check on device and the file is well present and these device were connect at this hour -> 10 pm Ok, for 25 devices i can do that manually. But next week i need to do the same operation on 600 devices .. anyone has an idea about what's happen, perhpas my procedure isn't good or ... Any idea are welcome thanks for your time
Hell all, we work with mobicontrol in version 13.3.0.3454 Our device are zebra tc75x with android 6 and 7 enroll with android + the client mobicontrol is on version : 13.6.0.1476 I would like to get a report with the device name and the phone number. But, after have checked the column -> phone number in the admin console I've seen that this column is ALWAYS empty ... Of course, we have a sim card inside each device and it's possible to call these device -> no restriction, How I can display the phone number in the administration console ? thanks for your help
Hi, I am trying to apply a profile to a TC75X Android+ device but I am having issues applying the profile and getting changes to apply on the device. I managed to get the device to apply the profile by removing it from the folder and adding it again but now any changes I make to the profile, nothing happens on the device and it just says "Pending Install". I just checked the Logs and we're receiving error message "Error message received from device (Internal storage decryption not supported)" This is happening on multiple devices.
Hello, we have mobicontrol on version 13.3.3454 the client is on version : 13.3.0.1059. our devices is zebra tc75x under android 6.0. I trying to collect some data with the fonction available -> data collection. I've create a data collection with type => IP Address on it . (just for to realize some tests) I've selected somme devices and apply on them. Now on device, i go to collected data on the right panel but every time there is nothing ... I think the steps i follow is not good ..but which one ? why my data collection is always empty .. thanks for your time
Hello all, we have mobicontrol on version 13.3.03454 we have some device zebra tc75 under android 6.0 with client mobicontrol on version 13.5.0 build 1677 We have a profile who has lock down with authentification. On the lock down -> html page, we have some title text and a image. when user click on the image we open an app. If we press the TITLE text on the lock down after perhpas one or two second we can see a little menu appears with some options as SHARE. If i click on share, a popup is show (application chooser) with these app : - android beam - bluethooth - email - gmail - .... How to avoid this problem ? thanks for all
Hi;My Zebra TC75 device "Agent Status" still waiting "Connected, waiting for server response" and the device seems to be Offline on the console.Other Samsung Android devices "Agent Status" section just writes "connected" (green color) and devices online. I tried to wipe the device. I re-enrolled the device but the result did not change. Have you encountered a similar problem before?
