Zebra OTA account details or reset the registrations

Solved

Hi,

In the SOTI MobiControl the Zebra LifeGuard OTA says that it's registered but when we try to sync we get an error.

Now I'm trying to see what the issue could be and for that I was looking to reset the registration but I have no clue where to change or see the Zebra LifeGuard OTA Account that was used previously.

Error message in the logs: Failed to sync Zebra LifeGuard OTA enrollment status

So it doesn't tell me more than this...

Hello Marcus,

thanks for the reply.

I'm trying to see what account is actually connected to the Zebra website, I do know that it worked before and stopped working after we had issues with our google managed enterprise account and now we are getting those errors.

Hello,

as I opened a case too with Zebra, they confirmed me that it is an issue from SOTI's side and that I have to create a case with SOTI that can be escalated to level 2 or 3 but that SOTI is aware of the issue.

Hello Gunther,

I received a private fix for the issue that they apparently put in the global version 15.6.4. Release notes: 15.6.4 -- June 26, 2023 | SOTI Docs

After I did the private fix, I did have to use a SQL command to manually change the status from Blocked to another status.

Update AndroidFirmwareUpgradeEnrolmentStatus set AndroidFirmwareUpgradeEnrolmentStatusId = 6 where DeviceId in
(
select deviceid from DevInfo where HardwareSerialNumber in (<HardwareSerialNumberOfDevice1>,           <HardwareSerialNumberOfDevice2>)
)

For mine it's now working without issues after the private fix, I have yet to install version 15.6.4 though.

Hope it helps you further.
