Enrol user's iOS BYOD

I am a complete novice when it comes to SOTI so apologies if I am asking for something really obvious. I have Installed the SOTI app onto CEO's BYOD iPad mini and entered the 'Enrollment ID' from SOTI MOBICONTROL > Options > Policies > Enrollment > IOS Standard. It then opens the 'SOTI Enrollment Service' screen on Safari. I enter the CEO's Active Directory username and password but it comes up with the following message: 'Sorry! Your device couldn't be enrolled. Unexpected security error occurred'. Any idea what I have missed or what settings I should check in SOTI MOBICONTROL please? Many thanks.

Is this your first iOS device you are trying to enroll?

If so, you could check the following:

- Is AD authentication and the required group membership configured correctly in your enrollment policy?

- Do you have an Apple APNS certificate installed in MobiControl?

You can also check DS or MS logs.

Hi Simon, apologies for the delay in my response. Yes, the Apple APNS certificate has been installed in MobiControl. We are currently in the process of AD authentication and group membership. I will come back to you when we have completed it. Thank you very much for your pointer in the right direction, really appreciated.

In order to troubleshoot further, can you please provide the below information? 

MobiControl version 

iOS version

Please let us know if you had a chance to look into AD authentication and the group membership side.
