Google Play Services

We have disabled the GMS services on our devices, which worked perfectly under Android 11, 12, and 13. Now, under Android 14, the Google Play services are still being queried. Is there a way to disable this? If so, where? We haven't found a solution for this yet

With GMS disabled,  many apps requiring its services will cease to function properly.   This applies to all Android devices including Android 11-13.  The apps and functions affected may differ with different firmware versions.

With this pop-up message related to Soti MobiControl showing on your device screen,  it just doesn't seem sensible to disable Google Play Service on this device running Android 14.

However, we haven't integrated any connection to Google Services, so using it doesn't make sense. The devices operate completely isolated from the internet.

The notification itself wouldn't be an issue, but I can't disable it at the moment because once we turn off the notification, we won't be able to see incoming calls anymore.

That said, I've posted another inquiry in the forum regarding this.

Do you have your Enrollment rule configured to bypass the creation of MGP service accounts?

Just a word of caution, Google owns Android which essentially has Google Services at its core. I think it's not a good idea to just disable Google Services. I think a better approach is figure out what component of Google services may be causing an issue and work from that approach. Hopefully you can respond with some additional information and we can help further.
