Samsung Android 14 Import Contacts no longer replaces contacts

Hi,

We have a problem, import_contacts_vcf %sdcard%\contacts.vcf 1 no longer replaces my contacts but only adds them to the existing contacts. 

Did something change in the latest MobiControl Agent version?

We are running on Samsung A53 5G with Android 14 on latest version.

MobiControl Agent 2024.0.5.1062

Thanks for posting on SOTI Pulse, Could you please let us know are there any recent changes made in the enviourment? 

Is there any device having any other make and model apart from the one which you have already specified?

After testing over and over, manually emptying the whole contacts list and importing again worked.

After this I could update my contacts this way again.

If emptying the list by hand on each device is not an option at scale.

NM Contacts takes a different route. A small app pushed by MobiControl keeps the shared list in sync with a web portal, per location, and deletes and updates follow the portal without a replace-all import.
