We need to give users the ability to change the keyboard language from english to Canadian french without them downloading. I can see there is a setting in the managed app config for where the packs are stored. is there a way to download and push the packs?

never done this but to get the download location you may try following:

  1. Connect a phone to company network which you can monitor
  2. actively monitor the specific phones network traffic
  3. goto gboard and download the language manually by the menu
  4. grab the destination and use this to download the file to your PC
  5. provide the file to the device using Soti to the correct folder

Not sure if this is possible (because if they do API calls instead of direct links, it won't help) but i don't see any other possibility right now.

The Language Pack default directory in Managed Configurations is already shown as /system/usr/share/ime/google/d3_lms. You might be able to navigate to that directory after downloading multiple language packs to the device to extract them to then Package them up for delivery by SOTI.
