I'm using a zebra tc51 and i have a website and we want to scan the barcode to the check box and the site shows the product info. I set up a new datawedge profile for surf and for the first time it's working, but if i go another application and go back the barcode reader doesn't work.So the question is, is there any other setting that might help or maybe I need to set something in the profile?
DataWedge should be performing automatic Profile switching based on whatever application is in the foreground. This process can be interrupted however if another application on the device is integrated with the scanner hardware via the EMDK rather than going through DataWedge. Is it possible that the other app that you're switching to has direct scanner integration instead of leveraging DW? If so, an app like that would have to release the scanner when put into the background so that it can be relinquished back and made available to DW to control.
