Hi, I've got a Zebra MC3300ax devices with the Version 11-20-18.00-RG-U00-STD-HEL-04 that i am trying to update up to 14-32-12.00-UG-U03-STD-HEL-04 Version, i have copied the file with File sync to a set location and once it is done i have sent the script (Type Legacy) : install_system_update /sdcard/update/HE_FULL_UPDATE_14-32-12.00-UG-U03-STD-HEL-04.zip to which i get the log error Custom log (Mx OTA failed: Any idea what could be the cause of this? i have tried moving the file to diffrent locations and even diffrent update files to slightly lower versions but it always give the same error. Hi all Just wondering whether anyone has found the reported activity for Samsung devices running Android 14 for the Task Bar option? When enrolled via Android Classic, the Task Bar button becomes greyed out and can't be interacted with by the user unless it's in admin mode. I have tried using identify_activity to try and locate what the command is to try and write a script that might work for our admins to send over to the devices in a group as aposed to having to revoke the lockdowns applied but all this is returning is the activity for the settings page being opened and settings sub menu. It will not idenfity me turning the option on or off for the Task Bar. I am not sure if there is any other way. Does anyone have any idea? Agent versions are anything 2025 and above. Thanks
Hello all, I'm running into app crashes with one of our internal applications and one of the solutions our team thought up of was that HXLogger is the perpetrator. Thinking this, our idea is to try and disable HXLogger remotely, preferably using SOTI. I've tried several methods including scripts, profiles, and packages to no avail. HXLogger is turned on through Honeywell Enterprise Provisioner and I thought I turned it off there but that didn't work out either. We are running Android 12 on the Honeywell CT47's. Does anyone know how to disable HXLogger remotely or any place one can start?
Hello all!I have a question regarding settings in Chrome browser when using it via SOTI and managed play apps.I have tried to edit my settings via Apps policies and Browsers in the Profile, what i need is to get the "translate" suggestion removed. The settings that i have tried is the "Enforce Translate Mode" and also the settings "Enable Translate"Both of these settings are turned off and i have tried to turn them on but no changes in the Chrome browser.Any ideas on how to remove this? Would the easiest to just have the default language set to English?The default language is set to Swedish on the device, its a Honeywell CT65 running Android 11.
Hi there I have an issue with our Zebra TC57. They all have Android 11 as OS. We are using an app policy in order to push out the app on our work managed scanners. The issue is this. In Maps my users are experiencing when pressing the microphone icon in order to give a verbal direction, it does not register. Instead of a "small face" that asks you "where do you want to go" it jumps to "You can try to say the following" and not going any further. Google Maps are allowed to use the Microphone in the settings, and I have updated the playstore. We are using a managed SOTI account to lo into these devices. There is a work-around I have found that works, where you instead of pressing the Microphone you press the search field and then press the Microphone on the keayboard that pop-up. Have anyone experienced to aswell? We are using the SOTI MobiControl 15.6.
Hello Team, We are looking for auto reinstall app options when device moving from folder A to B. Since we have relocation rules on ip based and when device moves it get automatically relocated to particular folder so previous user data on device and logged in app so wanted to just reinstall to erase\refresh the app while moving from one location to another location. So is there any rules, features or option that provide app auto reinstall while it moving.?? Thank you.
Hello Team, We are facing date time sync issue in our devices, our DS is hosted in data center and and we have customers across the global so we cannot use the DS for time sync. Each location has its own NTP server for their local Time and date, but in some location some devices getting this issue. We found some alternative like there is option to use "User network provider" option to select and we want this to be enabled along with NTP server. any xml or script, please you are most welcome.
Good morning, i have a brand new Zebra MC9400 that i am trying to enroll in soti mobicontrol, but i can't figure out how to make the unattended remote control to work. I followed the guide here: Enable SOTI MobiControl Remote Control for Android Enterprise Device Owner (AEDO) Mode (zebra.com) that says that this new models doesn't furhter need the Zebra soti plugin Zebra_Legacy_RC_AE_1.16.10.121.pcg. Without this package in the profile, i can only connect to the device (on the device screen is also prompted to accept the screen casts request) but i can't interact with the device, that is mandatory for our enterprise requirements. I also tried to add the package Zebra_Legacy_RC_AE_1.16.10.121.pcg in the profile (it was working with MC9300) but with no luck , it won't install in the device. My question is, why is the remote interaction not working ? Our mobi control server version is 14.2.0.2894 (cloud appliance) Many thanks, regards
We currently have SOTI MDM on all devices across our company using the Lockdown tool. We also use organizational google accounts which seems to be having issues when adding the email associated with the organization google account in a pushed down app or to the play store after the device is added into mobicontrol. We have created the enterprise binding between soti and google and still cant get it to work. Everytime you log into the google account on the device running soti it says sync error and seems to pop you back into the Soti app. anyone have any insight on how to fix this. I tested my personal (non managed) google account on the managed Soti device and it works completely fine

Hello everyone, I have purchased a new Zebra TC58 device (Android 11) and would like to be able to control it via SOTI. It has been staged with Android Plus using an Enrollment ID directly, so the SOTI agent is present right after setting up the device. The remote control function is not working correctly because when I try to remotely control the device, only a white screen appears. However, the device activates the screen as soon as I attempt to access it (indicating that it recognizes my attempt to access), but I can neither see the device in the browser nor control it. This issue persists even after reinstalling the profiles, restarting, or checking in. Initially, I thought it might be due to the OS version, so I updated it to 11-25-02.00, but this did not resolve the problem. Have I missed something? Can someone help me further? Hello, we manage all of our Smartphone android devices with MobiControl. This is our current setting "Allow User to Configure". The problem is we are technically able to track the exact location of the smartphone and we are not allowed to be able to track them... Can we turn the tracking off somehow that they can only use GPS for navigation like google maps? They also should still be able to turn off and on the location on smartphone and not completely block it through mobicontrol, because if I use "GPS only" they can not turn it off on the smartphone.
Hi all,At the moment I am working on our Honeywell CK65's where I am trying to use the mcsetup.ini file to envoke the enrollment URL after provisioning it with Honeywell Provisioner. Is there a way to get this working so that the device can be setup in a one step process ? We have transfered mcsetup.ini /sd/download using honeywell provisioner can we specify the enrollment in honeywell or in the mcsetup.ini we cannot use enrollment ID as our enviorment is fully isolated from the internet.Thanks in advance.
Hi all, I am currently working on setting up a geofence for our Honeywell CK65 devices. The problem is when I click onto a device and click the "Location" tab I am presented with a persistant loading screen. I have attempted to use diffrent browsers, disabled firewall, checked to see if the location settings were enabled on the device ect. None of these have worked. Any help would be much appreciated.
