Soti Mdm blocking Google organization emails to be added to device

We currently have SOTI MDM on all devices across our company using the Lockdown tool. We also use organizational google accounts which seems to be having issues when adding the email associated with the organization google account in a pushed down app or to the play store after the device is added into mobicontrol. We have created the enterprise binding between soti and google and still cant get it to work. Everytime you log into the google account on the device running soti it says sync error and seems to pop you back into the Soti app. anyone have any insight on how to fix this. I tested my personal (non managed) google account on the managed Soti device and it works completely fine

This discussion seems to be similar to the issue i'm facing

Even i hope you have done all the following investigations already:

  • setup and use an enrollment policy using Google domain account
  • check if a feature control profile prevents you of adding google accounts

For the problematic devices that your currently have, were they previously enrolled with an enrollment policy with Managed Google Account enterprise-binding (i.e. associated with a domain name of your company) rather than with managed Google Play account?

What are the version and build numbers of your MobiControl server?  Is it an on-premises or cloud implementation?   Is the server integrated with AD, LDAP or IdP server?

Hi Jake,

You can try moving your test device to an empty folder (no profile, no policy assigned), that there would be no AE on this new folder. And then if you have an action on the device side called Reset Account to reset the test device AE binding, can you see that this device can show AE mail (random e-mail) on device details side from MobiControl Webconsole, and the AE name which is new AE binding name? If yes, then you can try assigning different Google Apps and test it whether it works or not. During the assignment, you may select priority as "High" if you have any such option on "installations options side" of the App policy.

I hope this helps.
