Hello all!

I have a question regarding settings in Chrome browser when using it via SOTI and managed play apps.

I have tried to edit my settings via Apps policies and Browsers in the Profile, what i need is to get the "translate" suggestion removed. The settings that i have tried is the "Enforce Translate Mode" and also the settings "Enable Translate"

Both of these settings are turned off and i have tried to turn them on but no changes in the Chrome browser.

Any ideas on how to remove this? Would the easiest to just have the default language set to English?
The default language is set to Swedish on the device, its a Honeywell CT65 running Android 11.

Some follow up questions for clarification:

Do you have Managed Play Service Accounts from your Android Enterprise Binding associated with the devices you are targeting with the App Policy?

Did you wait a sufficient amount of time for the App Policy pushing settings through Managed Play to arrive on the devices?

Are other Managed Configurations from the same App Policy applying correctly to the devices?

If your MobiControl server version <15.6?

Hi Willy,

you can use the "Honeywell UEMConnect" and set the Device languages to English.

That is what i have also done.

Most of the users swtich the language on the welcome screen and that is there a mix in the Languages on the Device.

Honeywell UEMConnect  set the following config :

System Settings -> Language and Input Settings  -> Locale Language -> set to English

Apply the Policy on the selected Device -  then "Check in " all devices that it will change it.

Might when you had not done it before you need to assign the App over the Playstore with the Policy to the Honeywell Devices
