Hello all!I have a question regarding settings in Chrome browser when using it via SOTI and managed play apps.I have tried to edit my settings via Apps policies and Browsers in the Profile, what i need is to get the "translate" suggestion removed. The settings that i have tried is the "Enforce Translate Mode" and also the settings "Enable Translate"Both of these settings are turned off and i have tried to turn them on but no changes in the Chrome browser.Any ideas on how to remove this? Would the easiest to just have the default language set to English?The default language is set to Swedish on the device, its a Honeywell CT65 running Android 11.
Hello, I am sure this is a setting I am missing somewhere but currently no one can sign into any accounts on the Chrome mobile app and many of our apps load up the default browser to sign in to accounts. If I manually change the default browser to Samsungs browser I am able to sign in. All login's on chrome the sign in button is greyed out.
Hello Team, Do any one have information about how to clear chrome caches by command or config files. We just wanted to have one config or button on lockscreen by clicking google chrome get cleared. We have zebra devices TC52, Tc52 and TC57
Good day everyone, I've got a lockdown webpage problem, here i have 2 scenarios: case #1 Publishing the app ("launch" function in the lockdown) the webpage get open correctly. case #2 Publishing the page only ("http" function in the lockdown) the webpage open zoommed in.I would prefer to use case #2 in order to avoid users to have urlbar and browsers menu. Any idea how to fix it in case #2 ? Any way to force zoom in the command or disabling zoom in the lockdown? p.s "browser" function work same as launch so discarded.
Good Afternoon. I am looking for a way to update Google Chrome on the android samsung galaxy A7 light automatically. We currently do not have chrome pushed by the application catalog since Chrome was already on the device. Is there any way to automatically update it using a script in soti?
Since last agent update - Agent Version15.4.4.1063 - we have experienced problems with weblinks in the lockdown. I think the lockdown uses it's own browser supported by Chrome engine (Can be wrong here). When we run native Chrome out of lockdown it works perfect. Problem occured with this agent or the one before.
Hello, I'm facing an issue trying to automate edge and other browser (cannot use SOTI surf for this sadly..) cache cleaning. i have seen a tons of post regarding cache cleaning but mostly using wipeapplication. Something that we cannot use at all. Too much troubles caused by the total wipe. Is there anyway to have a script ? Seen DDMOD@SOTI saying that it was on the roadmap Any news or any other ideas. Automatic script/Button on the lockdown all accepted at this point.. Thanks in advance,

The policy's goal is to restrict Chrome and whitelist one of our companies approved sites. Hey everyone, I'm looking for a Browser for my windows mobile / ce devices.For our android devices we use soti surf, which is working really good, unfortunately the browser is unavailable for windows mobile /ce as far as i know.We used internet explorer in the past just a for a few scanner. At some Point this year we will need to use a browser for all devices and won't have native application anymore. Customization features for internet explorer are very limited and not manageable remotely. I have a few requirements.- slight customization options (kiok mode), not necessary but would be really nice for users- js support, can be a very old verison- remotely manageable- no further costs for the browser itself( Devices will be replaced when damaged and not rebought) I know the devices are EOL but maybe someone had similar requirements and found a suitable browser.Thank you very much for reading.If you need any more information feel free to ask.Best RegardsFlorian
Hi community, I'm using SOTI Surf on TC57X with Android Enterprise. (SOTI MobiControl 15.3.2.1072) When i open the camera dialog via Surf i've to choose between Camera and Data. When i use Chrome the Camera App opens automatically. Is there any way to configure this?

I'd like to be able to add a Chrome browser bookmark to the home screen of our Zebra devices. Soti Surf isn't an option as Chrome is required for the bookmarked website. We have it set as a bookmark but the users would like it added to their home screen. I have a site that most of their url's have url.com:portnumber/restofurl. I can add these to the surf config as either a single webpage or catalog of web pages. However if I try to call those web url's from the lock screen as one of the browser launch methods it does not appear to pass the url over to surf or the browser or webview. Before I open the ticket with SOTI Support I wanted to make sure that someone else had not seen this issue yet. Thanks in advance.
First post here. Thought to pick your mind on this one. Before upgrading from SOTI MobiControl 14.3 to 15.1 I had profiles assigned with web filters covering the allowed URL's that were assigned to my devices. The profiles are applied to all devices and working fine. I had a couple of "Allow" rule types and one "Block" with the "*" as the URL. This worked perfectly fine. Users could only browse to the Allowed URL's and all other sites were blocked due to the usage of "*" I now tried to make changes to one of the filters and it gives me an error. Doesn't allow me to save it anymore. This forces me to remove the "*" as a Block rule type and this will give access to all sites when users try to browse using e.g. Chrome. I guess this is due to some changes in 15.1 or any versions after 14.3... Any tip on what I can do here is appreciated.
