Hello, I am sure this is a setting I am missing somewhere but currently no one can sign into any accounts on the Chrome mobile app and many of our apps load up the default browser to sign in to accounts. If I manually change the default browser to Samsungs browser I am able to sign in. All login's on chrome the sign in button is greyed out.
Are you using a Feature Control Profile? It could be one of these configurations preventing the user from adding a Google Account to the device.
Both options are turned on and Allow Account creation is set to all accounts, It works on soti surf and samsung browser so I am thinking it is one of the options available to chrome specifically. Cannot seem to find anything that locks it out. We really only have setup blacklist on specific sites in the managed section for google chrome.
If you are using Managed Configurations for Chrome you may also want to see if either of the following configurations have been set
RestrictSigninToPattern: This policy restricts which accounts can be signed in to Chrome. By setting a specific pattern, you can prevent users from adding unauthorized accounts. For example, you can restrict sign-ins to a specific domain.
BlockBrowserSignin: This policy disables the ability to sign in to Chrome. When enabled, users won’t be able to sign in to Chrome with any Google account.
