Unable to manage device

Hi, 1st time post, go easy on me...
I have a device which is managed by Mobicontrol.
My client has been asking for some changes to the lockdown/kisok mode, one of which has resulted in complete loss of connectivity. The device just states 'the process com.android.phone has stopped'
I am unable to manage the device from SOTI because it cannot connect.
The policy also prevents the end user from accessing Settings, prevents factory reset and on top of this it's low on space.
So I'm in a position where it would appear I've bricked a customers tablet and he wants it back like last week.
I feel that the only way to get past the now not-talking MDM is by rooting but, I can't unlock the bootloader nor can I enable ADB.
I've tried re-flashing the firmware using ODIN but I'm proper stuck.
My idea is that if I can gain root, I can then re-flash OEM firmware.
Any advice?

To save yourself more time,  I advise you to immediately open an official support ticket with Soti support team to handle the problem in private.

What you ask is just too sensitive to be discussed in an open forum.  Solving your problem needs much sensitive information on your device and server/policy settings,  which you likely don't want to reveal openly.

At the same time, discussing the approach to solve the problem in an open forum also give hackers valuable information to hack lost/stolen devices being protected by an MDM/EMM software.   I therefore have to discourage anyone from sharing their expertise openly on this topic here.

I apologize for having to say this.  No offence.

Hi Bryn,

Were you able to gain control of your device?
