I assume you're referring to the SOTI lockdown? If you swipe up from the bottom of the screen SOTI lockdown will have an option for an administrator login and that's the password you need i assume?
In order for that device to have SOTI lockdown present, it would have had to, at some point, connect to a SOTI environment with a lockdown profile configured. Whatever the password was at that time, in that environment, would be what the device requires. It wouldnt be an effective lockdown if there was an easy way around it.
If there is no way to recover the password, or to return the device to the original wifi network it was configured to use so that it can re-connect to that environment, you may need to factory reset the device via ADB or an android OS factory reset file in order to break out of the lockdown.
Hi Bruno,
If that doesn't work you should be able to use the back button and hold it for 3-5 seconds for the admin password input box.
Or if the issue is that the password is not working, a script sent to the devices of "notify kiosk off" works on android devices too but the device needs to be online for scripts to work.
Lastly if you can add a picture of the issue, we can help confirm which of the two are occurring.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
How do we know you are who you say you are? How do we know you're not some end user with a stolen device trying to break through the lockdown screen ;)
:) He still needs the Administrator password...
