Hi,
has anyone encountered an issue where when other app is trying to access SOTi issued user certificate and android is asking to set pin or password to access credential storage? Android 7 enrolled as Android + worked, but after upgrading device to android 8 and enrolling as Android Enterprise this issue appeared. Is it fault in new security settings in android 8 or soti app permissions? Would it be possible for SOTI to allow access to credential storage without PIN for some apps?

I think as per Desing in newer Android Versions Credential Store can only be unlocked with a lockpin.

When installing certificates with soti nowadays on android enterprise, soti explicitly asks for a lockpin before installing certificates.

From 14.1.3Agent Soti itself does not ask for pin when installing certificates, at least on zebra devices and it can renew certificates without PIN without any problems.

I have a customer on 15.3 experiencing the same symptom on Zebra devices running Android 9, and 10.

Just dont set up pin with zebra MX profile or you will have a lot more issues.
