Not able to add directory service LDAP

Hello,

i am running MC v15.2.0.4819 on premise as a virtual machine (virtualbox).

When i am trying to add my directory service ldap then i am getting an internal
error message from mobicontrol.

I thought i was just unlucky with some configurations...but it happened on a different machine too. Same version on premise
but different network.

So i think there is a problem with mobicontrol? Has someone the same experience?

With the latest version of MobiControl (v15.2.4 Build 1138) it is poosible to add my LDAP directory
again.

We are experiencing the same issue as well using the same version of SOTI. It will not connect to our LDAP server. What authentication are using? (I.E. Anonymous, Basic and Negotiate).

Have you resolved the issue since?

I am using the basic authentication. I was not able to solve this issue...

I guess i will open a case and see what they are saying about that...

Same problem for us this morning on our cloud server. I am not even able to created a new Cloud Link Agent (CLA) on our server to allow the LDAP connection. I don't know if this is the same problem though...

Trying to test 15.2 at the moment; coming from version 13.4.

Okay so i guess MC v15.2 has some issues. I had no problems with v15.1 with LDAP. Since i am working with 15.2
the issue appeared.

Now i really should ask the support about this issue.

The SOTI Support confirmed that this is caused by the current MC version 15.2.0.4819.

I was forced to use the version 15.1.2 where i was able to add my directory service.

They raised a develepor ticket for this issue and try to fix it for the next release version.

Hi All,

Yes, I also encountered this issue as that version was released and I have a ticket that is about that old.

For anyone that need to test the new version - I have successfully installed a prior version and updated to the 15.2 version. Without any issues.

FYI all

Same issue today with the Version 15.2.1.1094 Still not able to add a LDAP Connection.
My case has been updated in this regard.

Thanks for the update.

My case has been escalated to the dev team after support confirmed there is definitely a problem on our cloud server. On our server, the CLA can't be created and therefore the LDAP connection can't be configured.

I'll report back once it is resolved in the hopes that it could help someone else.
