Mobicontrol Upgrade test

Running latest version of 11 and looking to test the upgrade using the following method.

Full Backup of database

Install SQL express on new local server and restore database

Install same version that is running on old server pointing to the new restored database

after doing this is all starts up but i see the old deployment server and management server still listed can i clean that up? I tried with the admin utility and that only has the new server listed.

Is there a better way of testing the upgrade?

Hello Bill,

Could you please let us know if you are deploying MobiControl on a new server? Or re-installing on the same server?

The entries might have to be changed manually from the database. Could you please create a support ticket, and one of the support representatives will assist you with this.
