Are there any SQL DML scripts that should be run as a means of housekeeping prior to upgrading MobiControl? Should we shrink the database prior to upgrade?

When running MobiControl installation program to perform upgrade, an option of backing up the existing database is automatically enabled by default.
Alternatively, the MobiControl database snapshot can be taken anytime using the back-up facility within the freely downloadable Microsoft SQL Management Studio.
I've seen that on previous upgrades but have usually opted to do the backup with SSMS. I was just curious if there were any more steps that can be taken to clean up the data before a migration from on-premises to cloud. I've seen a reference to a script that can do some "scrubbing" so I figured I would check here. Thanks for your response.
Hello Jack,
As Raymond mentioned, we recommend taking a DB backup before MobiControl Upgrades, however this is also done while the upgrade is in process. No other scripts/scrubbing that needs to be run other than this.
Thank you,
