Windows Modern Multi App Kiosk Mode

I have made a profile for modern windows and added the Multi app Kiosk mode to it, i have setup the general tab for a user and the name, i have setup the Home screen with avaliable application of Modern/MS Edge , i have setup the start menu with the weblinks that i want to show on the locked screen but i am not getting any icons at all on the lockdown screen,

What we want to accomplish is a kiosk screen that is locked & have multiple links on it to dif web sites and the user not able to log on, shut down,or change anything on it.

I have created such for now using a profile with a lockdown & listed several of out link in that and that woks fine but for a technician to work on the unit WE have to take it out of kiosk mode in SOTI

Thank you for reaching out on SOTI Pulse. We understand the issue you are facing with the Multi-App Kiosk Mode in MobiControl and would like to assist you further.

To troubleshoot, please verify the following:

  1. Ensure the apps and web links are correctly added under the Multi-App Kiosk Mode profile.

  2. Is there any icon assigned to the weblinks added to profile?

  3. Please confirm that the assigned user account has the correct permissions for kiosk mode.

  4. Try applying the kiosk profile to a different test user to check if the issue persists.

  5. Remove and reapply the Multi-App Kiosk Mode profile, then sync and restart the device.

If the issue continues, could you provide the following details?

  • Screenshot of your Multi-App Kiosk profile settings.

  • Device model and Windows OS version.

  • Any error messages or logs from Event Viewer related to the issue.

Additionally, I would recommend to use our Log a Case Webform to open a ticket so we can connect and follow up on issue, or you can access your Customer Portal if you have Premium or Enterprise Service.
